SAN FRANCISCO, CA - A new guide on starting and running a chiropractic business has recently been released. Written by a chiropractor in the trenches, it exposes the chiropractic "state of the union" and smashes the status quo. This bold, new guide reveals an alternative approach to the chiropractic business model; one that adapts to the current challenges that threaten chiropractic's survival. It is written with only one purpose in mind: to increase the chances of succeeding in a chiropractic career .

Dear Fellow Chiropractor:

You spent four, difficult years studying how to be a chiropractor. You successfully made it through rigorous chiropractic training, earned your chiropractic degree and opened up shop. However, like thousands of chiropractors across the land, you are currently in a daze, wondering what hit you.

Five years later, you feel like practice is a drag, profit margins are thinning, and that it's getting harder and harder each year to make a living in chiropractic. You are now having a little anxiety for the future as you look at your life savings account statement, realizing that you are light years away from retiring.

A chiropractic career in this day and age, while still a potentially lucrative endeavor, can be a nightmarish experience if you don't make the right choices. Having to pay $8,000 or more in overhead before you can make your first dollar, gasping for new patients each week, struggling to keep patients interested and coming in, cancelled appointments and no-shows, mounting payroll costs, underperfoming employees, and stacks and stacks of paperwork-- it makes one think that "there's got to be a better way."

At the end of the month, all you have to show for it is just enough money to barely pay your mortgage, the minimum payment for your credit card bills, and food, with a few bucks left over to go see a movie. Every week it's the same DRUDGERY-- you're caught in a never-ending cycle of having to work to live. You don't have "a life" and time is slipping away.

chiropracic career

Hi, this is Dr. Dan. I am a practicing chiropractor in California. Over the last 15 years, I have learned a great deal of what it takes to be a successful chiropractor. I've gone through the "school of hard knocks," which many chiropractors do not survive. I've made it through the swamp and am in the clear, for quite some time now, enjoying the benefits of a low stress, highly profitable practice. You may wonder what is my motivation for sharing this insider information to other chiropractors-- I'm glad to answer. You see, I've seen one too many new chiropractors fall into the pits of hopelessness.

chiropractic degree

Yes, tragedy is not an overstatement. It's the same script each time:

1. Newbie is gung-ho after graduating from school and earning his/her "D.C." degree after four years of classes, exams, more exams, and internship.

2. Newbie chiropractor takes out loans or borrows against his life savings to get started. In the most extreme cases, the newbie chiropractor leases office space on his own, pays several thousand dollars doing the buildout and acquiring equipment, perhaps gets a $125,000 DRX9000 spinal decompression machine, and realizes in a few months that he can't keep up with the rent.

3. Newbie chiropractor defaults on business and student loan payments and desperately tries to salvage her career, including waiting tables at night in another part of town.

4. Futility sets in, and newbie chiropractor files for bankruptcy, severely damaging her chance to ever take out a mortgage, car loan, or credit card.

chiropractor career

What astounds me the most is the silence on this matter from the major chiropractic schools. They are teaching their students how to become a chiropractor but not giving their students a reasonable assessment of life after school. And they certainly aren't preparing them adequately for what's to come. Why? Because doing so would scare away applicants; less applicants equals less money for the schools.

I want to give struggling chiropractors new "ammunition" that can help them gain some altitude. Some of my suggestions are likely to contradict much of what you currently believe. But during times like these, emergency procedures are needed to get out of the rut. After all, what matters the most is making an income that you can live off of comfortably. You can be the nicest, friendliest chiropractor in town, but if your expenses exceed your income, it's game over.

I take pride in being an objective person-- someone who calls a "spade a spade." Don't get me wrong, I believe chiropractic has its place in healthcare, and millions of people can benefit from it. Unfortunately, not everyone shares the same belief. Although you will have many supporters, you will unfortunately have enemies and detractors. You must be able to deal with this.

So, if you are a new or even established chiropractor and suddenly realize that things are very different from what you had hoped, the answer you've been awaiting is here:

Guerilla Chiropractic: How to Survive and Thrive in Today's Hostile Environment is my controversial, new manual that reveals what the real chiropractic experience is like in 2009 and how to position yourself for success.

If you've been practicing for over 5 years, you probably know what I mean by "hostile environment." If you haven't, then I can understand the confusion this might cause you. In this case, here's a taste of what I mean:

-The growing trend of major insurers contracting with chiropractic managed care companies. Join as a provider, and earn a pittance that in some cases doesn't even cover the cost of providing the service. Hold out, and lose a major segment of your market to your desperate competitor who eagerly joined.

-The increasing popularity of health insurance policies with $1,000 and $5,000 annual deductibles for chiropractic coverage (the amount the patient must pay out of pocket before insurance pays).

-Monthly mass media attacks by organized groups like Chirobase.org, Neck911, and other enemies of chiropractic eager to scare people away from chiropractic. Don't believe what the chiropractic "leaders" of the profession are saying, the attacks are doing some damage.

-Chiropractors being hit with insurance audits and getting billed in the tens of thousands for poor documentation

-and of course, the current state of the economy-- high gas prices, foreclosed homes, less cash on hand to pay for our services out of pocket. Yes, the cash practice model is affected, too, in case you were counting on it.

Listen, if you are enthusiastically anticipating the day you make it big in chiropractic, more power to you. I don't mean to rain on your parade. On the contrary, my goal is to increase your chances of seeing that day come true. This is "tough love" I'm giving here. You need intel from the "front lines" so that you can plan your business strategy wisely. You'll need much more than motivational seminars if you want to succeed; you need to know what's out there.

Despite the difficult times, let me assure you that a succesful chiropractic career is totally achievable. But you must think like a guerilla fighter going up against a bigger, stronger enemy: use unconventional strategies when conventional ones aren't enough.

This guide was written especially for any chiropractors who are disillusioned and confused about their career and who are not making enough money to make it worth all the trouble.

Here are just a few topics covered:

where to get chiropractic degree

Before you start making the big purchases, get your copy of Guerilla Chiropractic. It is the culmination of 15 years of trial and error, wasted money, but also big jackpots. It is a comprehensive and realistic study on the current economics of chiropractic and it is going to open your eyes!

For the chiropractors 2-3 years out of school and who are in limbo (don't really have anything going), you really need to get your hands on this info. The clock is ticking, and your debt is accumulating. You can't afford to wait any longer! If you have a family to support and are seriously struggling to make ends meet, you owe it to them to find out as much as you can about the newest strategies to succeed in a chiropractic career.

And, for all the other chiropractors who are desperately looking for an answer, you've got to check out the strategies in this ebook. It's not going to cost you an arm and a leg, like those big-time chiro consultants charge. Remember, I'm one of you-- a field doctor, earning a living by offering chiropractic care to the public. Most of the chiro consulting "gurus" haven't practiced in ages; their practice is comprised of us field DCs paying them $500 a month for their services!

A word of advice to newbies: Always, always get the bulk of your info from actively practicing chiropractors (not chiropractic school presidents, chiropractic students, career counselors, expensive chiropractic consultants.) Get your information "straight from the horse's mouth," from a person making his or her living in private chiropractic practice.

chiropractor training

First of all, try to understand that something like this manual should be considered an investment, not a cost. You see, the difference between an investment and a cost is that the investment pays for itself many times over; a cost is a one-time expense that doesn't bring in a return after its useful life, like the cost of a meal or a pair of shoes.

Expect to shell out $400 - $700 per MONTH if you sign up with a chiropractic consulting company, because that's what they charge (these companies have salaries and other overhead to pay).

Not only does this manual cover a LOT of what these consultants cover in a fewer pages, it offers an alternative model of practice, one whose goal goes beyond chiropractic. It's a long-term strategy that offers protection and stability.

This information can very well save you thousands of dollars by steering you clear of some of the traps most chiropractors fall for. And if you are a new chiropractor starting out, I guarantee that you are already unwittingly moving toward one or several of these traps, like a fish being drawn to a shiny lure. These business ideas you plan to implement seem like common sense ("everybody does it, why not me?"), when in actuality they are booby traps ready to bleed money out of you!

Guerilla Chiropractic can serve as your booby trap detector, sparing you those painful, wasted dollars and some patches of gray hair!

For a modest investment of $67-- the cost of a mere dinner for two at a decent restaurant-- you can discover the techniques I used, and currently use to build a low-stress, stable, highly profitable chiropractic practice designed to withstand the current, hostile business environment that threatens every chiropractor's survival. But most importantly, it helps you plan for the future.

If you are considering a chiropractic career, or are a struggling chiropractor, this is an investment you simply can't afford to pass up. It's never too early to start taking action!
